MAÇAIX
Partnerships

Represent the specialty in your market.

Licensees and joint ventures build, each in their own territory, the segment the brand founded. The network already reaches Brazil, Chile, Portugal and Spain — and the next market could be yours.

Why Maçaix, why now

Categories aren’t born every day.

Marco, Ane, Tomaz and Tiago — and a growing network.

Specialty coffee, terroir wine, extra virgin olive oil, fine cacao: when a food gains criteria, its value moves to another level. That’s what Maçaix is doing with açaí — and whoever joins now joins at the start of the curve.

A new category

The brand that founded the segment — the world’s first Special Harvest Açaí. A partner doesn’t distribute just another açaí: they help found a category.

Technical proof

From palm to pulp in 12 hours, full traceability and an INPI patent for the seed’s antioxidant extract. The proof is in The Specialty Açaí.

An expanding market

US$ 9 trillion by 2028, +7.3% a year — Global Wellness Institute. And 62% of consumers pay more for sustainable products — IBM.

Asset-light model

Strategic outsourcing and partnerships for growing, processing and distribution. Maçaix invests in the network, the brand and the proof — not in heavy structure.

The paths

Four ways to build together.

Each partner joins through the path that fits their profile, channel and territory. All start from the same standard.

What you receive

The partner brings the territory.
Maçaix brings the rest.

A brand with proof

An identity built with rigor — a complete brandbook, clear positioning and a narrative that stands on technical criteria, not empty promise.

A specialty product

Supply through the brand’s own Special Harvest Açaí chain: harvest in managed areas, freezing within 12 hours and end-to-end traceability.

Marketing support

Content, materials and communication direction aligned with the brand voice — so the partner can educate the local market without starting from scratch.

International network

An active network in four markets — Brazil, Chile, Portugal and Spain — sharing learning, precedent and commercial strength among partners.

The Maçaix network today: Brazil, Chile, Portugal and Spain.
How it works

From conversation to launch.

There is no automatic sign-up. Every partnership is born from a joint analysis — a category is only built with those who execute to the same standard.

01

Qualified conversation

First contact

You tell us who you are, where you operate and what you see in your market. A direct conversation, no endless forms — on both sides.

02

Territory and profile analysis

Joint assessment

Together we assess the territory’s potential, the model’s fit and the capacity to execute. Transparency is the criterion — inside and outside the chain.

03

Joint plan

Structuring

Model, product mix, goals and support defined together. Each market calls for its own design — and the plan documents the criteria.

04

Launch

Operation

Brand, product and marketing support take the field. You run the territory; the network sustains the category.

Honest questions

Before you ask, we answer.

Do I need experience in the açaí industry?
Not necessarily. What weighs more is execution capacity, knowledge of your channel — retail, food service or distribution — and alignment with the brand’s standard. The knowledge about Specialty Açaí we build together: educating the market is part of founding a category.
How does territorial exclusivity work?
It depends on the path. In master licensing, territorial exclusivity is part of the partnership’s design. In the other models, routing by territory prevents overlap between partners. Exact boundaries are defined in the joint analysis — never by generic promise.
What is the required investment?
It depends on the model and the market. We don’t publish a generic number because it would be imprecise — and imprecision doesn’t suit Maçaix. The qualified conversation exists precisely to reach that number with criteria, considering territory, channel and operating capacity.
Does Maçaix already export?
Yes. The Maçaix network is present in four markets: Brazil, Chile, Portugal and Spain. New territories come in through the same door — the joint analysis of market and profile.
Who produces what I’ll be selling?
The Special Harvest Açaí pulp comes from the brand’s own chain in Óbidos, Pará — fruits harvested at the ideal point of ripeness and frozen within 12 hours for maximum nutrient preservation. The creams are manufactured in Sorocaba (SP), in partnership with an outsourced industrial hub, to a clean-label standard.

We don’t sell trends. We set a new standard.
